If you want the link to open in a new browser window, you add some code to your link. This is a good technique to make your site sticky (keep your site open and people on it. More difficult for people to leave or for your site to get left behind.)
To make a new browser window to open you use target="new" or target="_blank". Let's try a link to CBC.ca.
